Madonna at New Music Seminar 1984
( Only the uglies were upset)
Gosh I love her. She was just starting to get a big name, and already she was answering questions - and asking questions - to big-time music stars, and talking up her Like a Virgin album and single. She KNEW it was going to be a big hit!
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!
This just has to be real!
I LUV this setlist.
This is NOT BAD AT ALL!!!!

Last day in Fort Walton. I’m gonna miss the beach! However, I am taking today to listen to “The O.C.” soundtracks… it’s always been a dream of mine to listen to them while at the beach. :) Check that off the list!

Two more wonderful days at the beach! Yesterday was spent on the beach in the morning, having lunch on the balcony with my dad, and then going down to the swimming pool for a bit. It was warm out, but there’s such a nice breeze that I didnt even have to get in the water. Last night, we ate at Fudpuckers! First time there after hearing about it for what seems like at least 10 years. I found it to be your average tourist food place - food is decent, the atmosphere is crazy/fun, and the prices are a little on the high side. BUT - it was good to say I’ve been there. No, I didn’t buy a t-shirt.
After we ate, we went to one of these little souvenir shops and got two big intertubes for use in the ocean today. Good thing too, because my dad found 3 fishing lures washed up on the beach this morning. The last thing I want to do is step on one of those bad boys! I’ve already had one tetanus shot in my life, I’m not trying to have another. Dad and I floated out a bit onto the water for a bit in our tubes and enjoyed the sun! Lunch was a Papa John’s pizza, and then back to the beach with my mom. There was a nice breeze blowing again this afternoon, but the sun felt super hot, so I stayed under the umbrella for most of the time.
Dinner this evening was at Pepitos. Tripadvisor said it was one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area, and Lord knows I was ready for something that wasn’t seafood or touristy. It was good - your basic run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. We had a nice waiter though, he cut up with us a little bit. And the guy that brought out our food - holy arm muscles, Batman. We came back to the condo, rented a movie (for free at the condo!) and I’ve spent most of the night after the movie in my room just chilling. We had a thunderstorm tonight - thunder over the ocean sounds much different than on land. It’s more tinny, and kind of really crashes against the waves. Pretty cool.
I’m really excited about tomorrow. Not because its our last day - boo - but because we are going on a DOLPHIN CRUISE tomorrow night!!!!! Please please please let some little Flippers come around. I would love to top this great trip off with a dolphin sighting.
